Research studies involving people are called Clinical Trials. Clinical
Trials are an important step in a long process of identifying new ways
to prevent, diagnose, and treat cancer. There are different types of
trials including prevention and treatment trials. Prevention trials
study how changing lifestyle or medications can prevent the occurrence
of cancer. Treatment trials review how different medications work to
fight cancer and kill cancer cells.
